Isn't it time for Unity in our world? I believe that most of us would agree with the fact that it is time to create a brand new world; and in order for us to create something new, it is absolutely critical that we learn a new way of thinking, speaking and being -- A Positive Way. Hence -- the creation of Unity Church for Positive Living.

Unity is a New Thought belief system that has been in existence for well over 100 years. So as you can see, it is not actually new - although many persons are just now becoming aware of it. I believe that the underlying reason it is often challenging to accept Unity concepts, is because of a particular persons underlying belief systems which were rooted into their consciousness as a child. And so I ask you - are you at least a little bit willing to open your mind to the possibility that we can create the world of our dreams?

As the song Up Where We Belong states: "Some hold on to used to be, live their lives looking behind, all we have, is here and now, all our lives are there defined….Love lift us up where we belong." When you enter our doors, whether it be on Sunday morning for Meditation or for Worship, Wednesday class, Visit in the office - what you are going to feel is love. As one person stated, it feels more like you are at a "family reunion than at church."

So…what kind of a church would be about Positive Living and love? I thought churches were about going to heaven someday. Or maybe you thought that churches were about avoiding Hell. Whatever your thought is about why people go to church - I hope that you give us a chance to reframe that thought. We are here only to help you remember that your essence is love and when you can remember that one fact - you can begin to truly turn your life around - creating Heaven on Earth.
